An unexpected vinyl haul today … an eclectic one, too!

After a look ’round the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens and a spot of lunch, we had an unplanned wander into the Record Fayre.  It wasn’t just me who picked up some goods, either; my wife picked up Chaka Khan’s debut, Chaka, and a Juke Box Giants collection from The Drifters (which we’ve discovered isn’t performed by The Drifters!).

I picked up James Taylor’s brilliant Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon (£4), a fabulous Byrds double LP featuring The Notorious Byrd Brothers and Sweetheart of the Rodeo (£4.49), and the tremendous soundtrack for Oliver (£1).

A truly splendid day!
